2008--2009 the 1st Term Brief Report I

I Campus Life：

1. On September 2nd, 2008, the 2008——2009 Opening Ceremony of International Department of Beijing Huiwen Middle School was held in the report hall.
　　                                           During the ceremony, Principle Jin and Director Huang awarded the rewards and certificates to the class and students for their achievements and contributions, and for the first time, awarded the students who won Excellent Foreign Students in Beijing Huiwen Middle School. President Jin made the opening ceremony’s address and proposed the ardent expectation. Thrill appeared on their face and also filled whole teachers’ and students’ heart. The aim of the rich and generous scholarship is to praise the excellent students and encourage students to study hard. In the opening ceremony’s address, principle Jin use “Dream will lead to success, courage will lead to miracle” as the ending words to encourage students.

2. September 14th is Mid-autumn Day. On that day,15 teaches took the boards to the Long Tan park to see the lantern and admire the moon which help the students to experience the traditional Chinese culture and festive atmosphere.

3. The competition of callisthenic exercises was held On September 19th. Before the competition, students from each class all worked hard, especially those leading exercisers. By the headmasters’ and PE teacher’s help, they made a great progress. During the competition, the team formation is orderly, the clothing is unified, the sound of slogans is sonorous and the movements are standard, which showed our students’. Among the classes, Class2 Grade2 won the first place.

4. The 29th Olympic Games has been satisfactorily completed. on September 22nd, Huiwen Middle, as the school of Olympic education and having the Olympic “congenial knot” with Russia, , its International Department held the speech of “the Light of Olympic” to carry forward the spirit of Olympic Games. 郭晓芬、于燕平 于燕华gave the speech to share their experience of watching Games. History teacher, Mr. Yu use the Olympic Spirits “Faster, Higher, Stronger” to encourage the students.

Ⅱ. Education：

  Apart from the efficiency in the class, we also put emphasis on instruction after class according to students’ need. We have Pecking University Chinese tutorial class，Senior III Math strengthening class, Senior I, SeniorⅡsynchronous advanced class, SeniorⅡand Senior III history module tutorial class, HSK Senior Level tutorial class. For students study in Chinese section, we strengthen tracking and specially assign teachers to help them solve the problems they meet in the study.

  On September 19th, Work Description meeting for Senior III was held. In the meeting, Miss Jin introduced the parents the trend for the Peking foreign students, the Entrance Examination in 2008, the analysis of new Senior III and the plan and strategy of work management. After the meeting, the parents watched the competition of callisthenic exercises.
